Emma: 1 year 10 weeks

* Size 3 diapers. Size 12 & 18 month clothes. Size 4 shoes.
* Working on identifying farm animals. Emma can point out/pick up the horse, cow, sheep, pig when commanded.
* Loves following older girls around.
* "Blinks" on command
* Still go through the alphabet book everyday and Emma can show us certain objects. It is so cute to see her wiggle for Worm. "What does a worm do?"
* Working on animal sounds but Emma seems to like b and p words right now.
* Loves to pull up the toilet seat and throw toys in the bowl. Gross!
* Hard to take pictures right now because she won't sit still.
* Going through a growth spurt? A little trouble sleeping during nap time this week.

13 Months Old

This is how most of the pictures look like.
1 year ago

Emma: 1 year 9 weeks

* Size 3 diapers. Size 12 & 18 month clothes. Size 4 shoes.
* Pollen is bad! Emma and I go in & out all day, playing in the beautiful weather; however, we are probably tracking in a lot of pollen too.
* Loves to throw/kick the ball down the backyard hill and run after it.
* New words: apples, bubble bath, belly button.
* Likes to put puzzles together. Improving on putting the pieces in the proper place.
* Carries Mama's 2 pound weights around. So strong!
* Working on learning farm animals this week and can correctly identify several: pig, horse, cow, sheep by pointing at them/picking them up.

Emma: 1 year 8 weeks

* Size 3 diapers. Size 12 & 18 month clothes. Size 3.5 & 4 shoes.
* Takes one nap now, for about 1.5 hours, from 12:00 - 1:30
* Will now go up & down her inside slide by herself instead of Mama positioning her on top of slide. Emma will climb up the bus, with a toy, throw the toy down, then will slide down after the toy. She does this countless times in a row.
* Also loves to throw anything down the stairs.
* Cheesing for the camera.
* 6th & 7th tooth are erupting. That makes 4 on the bottom and three up top.
* Went to G Day and saw the Smith Family.
* Mama's 29th birthday.
* Loved to smack every pallet in Home Depot. She loved running around the garden section.
* Afraid of the bucket swing and tire swing but loves the slide.
* Able to climb the ladder to her fort by herself. Parents are close by in case of a slip.
* Likes to go down the 7 foot slide by herself.

Emma: 1 year 7 weeks

* Size 3 diapers. Size 12 & 18 month clothes. Size 3.5 & 4 shoes.
* Her morning naps are later & later. She starts her nap at 11 and will either wake up after 1 hour or 2 hours. If it is a 1 hour nap, Emma will take a second one later. A 2 hour nap means she is good for the day.
* Finally able to take advantage of the swingset/fort. Emma loves to go down the slide!
* Enjoys putting toys into boxes, baskets, anything. I'm beginning to teach her about putting toys away. It's going to be a process, though.
* To blow kisses, Emma smacks her lips, creating a muah (blow kiss) sound.
* Likes to put sunglasses, hats, bows on Mama.
* Attempts to take diaper off when changing diaper.
* Easter was this weekend; Emma had a egg hunting with family!
* Enjoyed playing with her easter basket for a few days, toting it around.
* Opening Day for baseball; Emma likes to watch (a little) baseball with Dada.

G Day 2013

We went to the G Day game on Mama's birthday. Emma was a little antsy and didn't want to keep still but she did great. Emma saw her friend, Mary Kate, but they really couldn't get down to play around the stadium, too many steps.

Easter 2013

Emma had a great time this Easter weekend! We went to an Easter egg hunt on Saturday & Emma did great picking up the eggs and putting them in her basket. On Sunday, Emma had a trail of Easter eggs leading from her room to her basket. She was very OCD about putting each egg in the basket. The Easter bunny brought several gifts to Emma: Little People Jasmine & Aladdin, Little People barn with animals, and new sippy cups. (Emma has so much stuff we didn't do too much this year.)

Later on Easter Sunday, we went to Andy, Erin & Dylan's house where Emma had another fun egg hunt. The funniest part was when Erin was holding Dylan's basket full of eggs and Emma slyly approached to take a few of Dylan's eggs for her basket!
