Sadie: Week 13

* 0-3month and 3 month clothes and size 1 diapers.
* Starting to smile more & more.
* Been enjoying storytime at the library with Emma. She listens intently and doesn't make a sound.
* Enjoyed Halloween activities: Boo at the Zoo, Dance party, and trick or treating.
* Likes to listen to Mommy and Daddy read stories before Emma's nap and bedtime.
* Loves watching football with Daddy. Another disappointing loss to Florida.
* Fascinated with balloons.
* Sits in activity bouncer and looks around; she likes to chew on plastic vegetables.

Apple Picking

We visited an Apple farm for the first time. Emma had a blast jumping on the bouncy pillow and also picking apples with Daddy. We picked at the end of the season so the pickings were few.

Sadie: Week 12

* Size 1 diapers and 0 - 3 month, 3 month clothes
* Still not on a nap routine, some days are better than others.
* Sleeps on tummy. Enjoys looking around while on tummy and constantly rolling over onto back.
* Not much of a talker, is more of an observer. She loves to look at her big sister play.
* Looks at herself in the mirror.
* Difficult to take pictures of just Sadie since Emma likes to jump in the picture.
* Emma can be a bit rough with Sadie; Sadie is very tough!
* Is a Mommy's girl; Mommy can solve crankiness!
* Plays in bumbo.
* Sleeping though the night: 8:30pm - 7:30am
* Feeds 5 times during day: every 3 hours.

Pumpkin Picking

We visited to Washington Farms for our annual pumpkin picking fun. It was so much fun to see Emma's enthusiasm. We picked 4 pumpkins, sunflowers and treated ourselves to peach and strawberry ice cream.

Sadie: Week 11

* Size 1 diapers and 0 - 3 month and 3 M clothes
* Has conversations with the animals hanging on her bouncer.
* Drools constantly.
* Smiling and talking more, although quietly and definitely isn't a chatterbox.
* Sleeping 4 - 5 stretches at night and takes about 1/2 hour to go to sleep. Sometimes it's immediate because I've started to put her on tummy to sleep and she sleeps much better that way.
* Went pumpkin picking and apple picking over the weekend.

Sadie's 2 month check up: 
Weight: 10 lbs 13 oz (50th percentile), Height: 21 1/2 in (10 - 25 percentile), Head 37 cm (10 - 25 percentile). NP confirmed that Sadie has a stork bite on the back of her neck that will fade with time. Everything went great and she's growing right on track. Had 4 vaccines: 3 shots and 1 oral. DTaP, Hep B, HiB. Emma had a flu shot during this visit and didn't cry and also thanked the nurse. Sadie cried after her vaccines and was very sleep the following 24 hours.

Sadie: 2 Months

Sadie: Week 10

* Size 1 diapers and 0 - 3 month and 3 M clothes
* Sleepers: 0 - 3 months and 3 months.
* About to go on another trip so not going to work on naps or getting her to fall asleep until after we return.
* Enjoys activity mat, especially the giraffe and blinking lights.
* Enjoys the owl rattle that Mimi bought her.
* Not as much of a talker as Emma but is much better at tummy time.
*After our trip to NOLA, we are getting back into a routine. No more traveling until Thanksgiving!
