Emma: 1 year 43 weeks

* Size 24 month clothes. Size 4 diapers. Size 2T-3T panties. Size 6.5 shoes.
* I took Emma to the library for story time this week and they didn't have it. Emma was so disappointed.
* Been enjoying the nice weather and spending time outside.
* Emma has regressed a little this week with potty training. Averaged about 2 a day. I'm going back to putting her on the potty since Emma stopped telling me when she needed to go "pee" or "poop"
* Went to the Christmas Parade in Downtown Monroe; Emma had a great time!
* Has started talking in sentences and there is nothing that she won't repeat. "I love you" is a favorite right now.
* Went to Mary Kate's birthday party at an Art House and Emma had a great time painting. I thought that she wouldn't sit down for long, but she was occupied for about 20 minutes painting. Emma had the prized seat next to MK while eating cake and Emma started crying during Happy Birthday song because she ran out of fruit snacks. ;)
* Emma stays dry 90% of the time during her naps and I forgot to put her in a diaper one day this week for naptime. She stayed dry. However, we aren't going to start naptime training until Emma has less accidents during the day.

Thanksgiving 2013 (in Pictures)

Emma: 1 year 42 weeks

* Size 18 & 24 month clothes. Size 4 diapers. Size 2T-3T panties. Size 6.5 shoes.
* Now we use puppy pads in car seat to absorb the accidents; works much better than towels.
* Did great over Thanksgiving in Savannah. She had 2 accident-free days and she asked for Mimi to take her a lot!
* Learned uh oh spaghettios from Aunt Stacy and is repeating everything!
* Had a great time decorating cupcakes; only grandparents will allow their grandchildren to make such a mess!
* Learned how to gobble like a Turkey for Thanksgiving.
* Favorite activity in Savannah: throwing hickory nuts into the creek.

Emma: 1 year 41 weeks

* Size 18 & 24 month clothes. Size 4 diapers. Size 2T-3T diapers. Size 6.5 shoes.
* Loves to pull everything out of drawers, and then run off so Mama can find the surprise and pick it up.
* Been enjoying storytime at the library. She shows Daddy the hand motions to the songs.
* Also, has been improving/learning at gymnastics. Knows how to do a table, somersault on her own, and v-sit.
* Been pooping in the potty like a champ. Still averages about 1 pee accident a day. I think she still has accidents because she doesn't want to stop what she's doing to go potty.
* Has figured out how to unscrew bottles (and mascara). I was getting dressed and heard giggles coming from the bathroom. Sure enough, Emma was painting her lips black with mascara.

Emma: 1 Year 40 weeks

* Size 18 & 24 Month clothes, some 2T. Size 4 diapers. Size 2T-3T panties. Size 6.5 shoes.
* Got a lot of Christmas shopping done this week at the outlets. Emma went in her panties and did fantastic! Emma was ecstatic when we went inside the Disney store. She can now say all of the characters' names on Mickey Mouse clubhouse.
* We started out the week just great with a trip to Target so Emma could visit the large balls in front of the store.
* Loves to "drive' the car and truck. One of her highlights of the day is to sit in Daddy's lap and help him drive the car into the garage, once he gets home from work.
* One of the reasons that I am so far behind in blogging is because I have been doing surveys during Emma's naps to make a little bit of extra money.
* Potty training: about 1 pee accident a day. She is starting to grab herself and run to the potty herself instead of me asking/telling her it's time to go.
* In the picture where Emma is "driving" is when Emma and I were occupying ourselves while Daddy when to get a battery for the truck. We were stuck in Athens. Thank goodness our friends were there to help!
