Sadie: 28 Weeks Pregnant

How Far Along: 28 Weeks (12 weeks until due date)
Size of baby:  14.8 inches long and weighs 2.25 pounds (size of a Chinese cabbage).
Gender: Girl - Sadie
Maternity Clothes: Yes, tops and bottoms, although, I'm discovering nonmaternity tops that I can wear in the closet.
Weight gain: + 16 pounds
Movement: YES! Sadie is active all throughout the day.
Sleep: Sleeping much better. Tired all the time, though.
Symptoms: Not too bad.
 What I miss: Nothing. I can't complain.
Cravings: Sweets
Best moment this week: Doctor's Appointment went great: Heartbeat and fundal height are right on track. Passed glucose test. BP: 116/68 and gained 4 pounds in 4 weeks. We go back in 3 weeks.
What I am looking forward to: Emma's first Braves game!

Sadie: 27 weeks pregnant

How Far Along: 27 Weeks (13 weeks until due date)
Size of baby:  14.5 inches long and weighs almost 2 pounds (size of a head of a cauliflower).
Gender: Girl - Sadie
Maternity Clothes: Yes, tops and bottoms.
Weight gain: + 12 pounds
Movement: Yes. Sometimes, Sadie doesn't listen to her Daddy, though, and won't budge when he tries to find her.
Sleep:Getting better. Snoring is out of control, per Greg.
Symptoms: Not too many complaints.Thank goodness the cold is on the mend. It took about 3 weeks before I finally got some relief.
 What I miss: Not much.
Cravings: Sweets. I eat chocolate nonstop.
Best moment this week: Emma making it one week without any accidents; and she told me when she needed to go instead of being prompted, most times.
What I am looking forward to:Another appointment this week.

Sadie: 26 weeks pregnant

How Far Along: 26 Weeks
Size of baby:  14 inches long and 1 2/3 pounds (size of an English hothouse cucumber).
Gender: Girl - Sadie
Maternity Clothes: Yes. And purchased another pair of maternity shorts.
Weight gain: + 12 pounds
Movement: Sadie is active throughout the day and night. I will wake up with my stomach hard as a rock, due to Sadie lying right under the skin.
Sleep: Getting better since cold is going away. Up all night going to the bathroom. Drinking lots of water to get rid of the cold.
Symptoms: None too bad. It's been a warm week, so I'm hot all the time.
What I miss: Energy. The cold has wiped me out but I'm slowly revitalizing.
Cravings: Everything. M&Ms, which is Emma's treat for telling me she has to go potty.
Best moment this week: The cold going away.
What I am looking forward to: Mother's Day.

Baby Girl # 2: 25 Weeks Pregnant

How Far Along: 25 Weeks 3 Days
Size of baby:  13.5 inches long and 1.5 pounds (size of an average rutabaga).
Gender: Girl
Maternity Clothes: Yes.
Weight gain: + 12 pounds
Movement:Baby girl seems to be high up in belly, like Emma was. 
Sleep: Not great. Can't get comfortable.
Symptoms: Tired. Hungry. Pregnancy cold (sore throat)
What I miss: Relaxing. Can't do that with a 2 year old!
Cravings: Banana pudding
Best moment this week: Emma sleeping in big girl room. Now I can start prepping the nursery and laying out the adorable baby girl clothes. 
What I am looking forward to: Getting over this pregnancy cold.It started out as a horrible sore throat and developed into a 2 week cold that isolated me and Emma from her friends.

Emma slept in her big girl bed for the first time and did great. She will get out of bed and surprise us in the middle of the night; however, we are working on this. I think that it's been a fairly smooth transition so far.

Mimi & Grandad came to visit and we hiked up Anna Ruby Falls. Emma had a fantastic time seeing the waterfalls.

We have decided on a name after a lengthy battle of wits: SADIE CLAIRE.

Baby Girl # 2: 24 Weeks Pregnant

How Far Along: 24 Weeks 3 Day
Size of baby:  Over 1 pound and almost a foot long. Baby Girl is the size of an ear of corn.
Gender: Girl
Maternity Clothes: Yes!
Weight gain: +  12 pounds
Movement: Yes 
Sleep: Not great.
Symptoms: None
What I miss: Sleeping.
Cravings: Sweets.
Best moment this week: Good visit with the doctor today. Great blood pressure. Weight gain of 2 pounds over 4 weeks (thanks stomach virus!) and had glucose test today. Go back in 4 weeks.
What I am looking forward to: Easter! (Excited that Emma will be able to enjoy hunting for eggs this year.) Finishing up Emma's big girl room.

Baby Girl # 2: 23 Weeks Pregnant

How Far Along: 23 Weeks
Size of baby:  more than 11 inches long and weighs just over 1 pound. Baby Girl is the size of a large mango.
Gender: Girl
Maternity Clothes: Yes! Still wearing a few non-maternity tops but all bottoms are maternity.
Weight gain: + 10 pound. I feel smaller this time around, but I'm also 10 pounds lighter and more active. 
Movement:Yes. 
Sleep: Not great.
Symptoms: Don't feel pregnant half the time.
What I miss: Sleeping.
Cravings: Sandwiches.
Best moment this week: Organizing closets and throwing stuff out. 
What I am looking forward to: G-Day game tomorrow.

Baby Girl # 2: 22 Weeks Pregnant

How Far Along: 22 Weeks
Size of baby:  11 inches long and weighs 1 pound (wow!) Baby Girl is the length of a spaghetti squash.
Gender: Girl
Maternity Clothes: Mixture of maternity and regular clothes. Definitely maternity bottoms.
Weight gain: + 10 pounds
Movement: Baby Girl is very active and her moves are stronger and stronger each day.This time around, I'm a little bit more active throughout the day; therefore, I mostly feel baby at night.
Sleep: Not great. Tossing and turning.
Symptoms: Whole family recovered from the stomach bug. Yuck!
What I miss: Sleep.
Cravings: Anything that is mentioned or pops into my head - it all sounds good to me.
Best moment this week: No sickness. Back to playing outside.
What I am looking forward to: Picking out a name for baby sister.

Baby Wassel # 2: 21 Weeks Pregnant

Pregnancy Highlights:

How Far Along: 21 Weeks
Size of baby: Baby Girl is approximately 10.5 inches long and weighs 3/4ths of a pound. She is the length of a carrot.
Gender: GIRL
Maternity Clothes: maternity bottoms. Some regular and maternity tops, depending on length.Being early pregnant in winter allows you to wear button down sweaters over maternity tank tops.
Weight gain: + 10 pounds. Trying to slow this number down. 
Movement: Yes, more consistent movement several times throughout the day. She's very active when I'm heading to bed.Greg felt her move late this past week.
Sleep: Sleeping okay. Have to go to the bathroom maybe once during the night.
Symptoms: Ligament pain has slowed down. Pulled a muscle in the butt/thigh area. Also hurts to sit on the floor to play with Emma.
What I miss: Being more active.
Cravings: Pickles.
Best moment this week: Clearing out Emma's big girl room so Greg can paint. 
What I am looking forward to: Warmer weather. Playing outside with Emma. 

Baby Wassel # 2: 20 Weeks Pregnant

How Far Along: 20 Weeks
Size of baby:  Weighs 10.5 ounces and is 6.5 inches in length, from head to rump. 10 inches from head to heel (size of a banana).
Gender: Girl!
Maternity Clothes: yoga pants or maternity bottoms. Still can wear some non maternity tops, but most of them don't seem long enough.
Weight gain: + 10 pounds
Movement: Yes, I usually feel the baby move at night, while I am lying in bed.
Sleep: Sleeping okay but not great. I thought the body pillow would have helped more. Usually up to the bathroom around 4:30.
Symptoms: None.
What I miss: Energy. Deli meat. feta cheese
Cravings: Pickles.
Best moment this week: Great checkup from the doctor.
What I am looking forward to: Getting Emma's big girl room ready so I can pull out the baby clothes.
