Emma's 3 year appointment

Emma did great at her check up; was a little upset that she didn't have any shots/vaccines. Weighs 33 pounds and 37 inches tall. Everything checked out great and she will return in one year.

Sadie: Week 28

* Size 2 diapers. Size 3 M, 3 - 6 M and 6 M clothes.
* In Florida for part of this week.
* Been battling a cold. She is full of snot and has a terrible cough.
* Thinks Emma is so funny and is very easily entertained by her older sister.
* Cooing, laughing and full of smiles.

Sadie: Week 27

* Size 2 diapers. 0 - 3 M, 3 M, 3 - 6 M, and 6 M clothes.
* Favorite toy: princess stables. Sadie likes to take them off the track one by one to chew on them.
* Likes to watch the dryer.
* Pulls up to a standing position every time she sits in front of activity cube.
* Disney World!

Sadie: Week 26

* Size 1 diapers. 0 - 3 M, 3 M, 3 - 6 M and 6 M clothes.
* The girls already fight over toys. Emma takes Sadie's toys and Sadie meltsdown!
* Still supplementing with formula - 2 ounces three times a day.
* Weighs 13 lbs 11.4 ounces. 2 ounce gain.
* Likes to close laptop on activity table.
* Discovered toes, finally, and is rolling from side to side on her back.
* Sadie is now talking/cooing up a storm, thank goodness. She was SO quiet/observant.
* Best age: full of smiles, giggles and coos. 

Sadie: Week 25

* Size diapers. 0 - 3, 3 M and 3 - 6 M clothes.
* Winter-time congestion has lasted for a few months. It's been a rough week of not sleeping well.
* Weight: 13lbs 9.3 oz (4.7 ounces gained in a week!)
* Bathes every other night. Night time is hectic around here, with Sadie getting fussy around 6pm and going to bed at 7.
* Enjoys watching Mickey Mouse on tv.
* Likes to lay on the fort.
* Emma is very good at tickling Sadie.
* Pulling herself up to a standing position.
* First time sitting in grocery cart. Almost lasted the entire trip.

Sadie: Week 24

* Size 0-3, 3, 3-6 month clothes. size 1 diapers.
* Favorite toy: toy lamp, crawling ball, balloons, jumperoo, activity cube
* Doctor appointment. Sadie weighs 13lbs 2 oz (almost 2 lbs gain), 24 inches long (1.5 inches gain) and 39 3/4 cm head circumference (1 3/4 cm gain). She is in the solid 10% in all categories. The doctor said to continue supplementing. No foods until 7 months, maybe rice cereal at 6 months. Sadie is ready for food; she eyes the fork as it goes to our mouths.
* Watches sister intently.
